New Village Hall

Look at the details below to find out what is being planned for the new village hall.

Think about your needs and opinions to help the development of ideas.

Get in touch with  post@llanbedr.com immediately to make sure that your needs are being considered.

If you are an existing user of the Village Hall  your proposals for future use and developments must be known.

If you wish to make use of the new facilities when they are built, details about your organization and activity should be brought to the attention of the development committee now, at this planning stage.

Community groups:

A group has been formed to draw up plans for a new Village Hall. Watch this space for more details.

New Village Hall Project
Since the Committee's establishment at the start of 2012, it has reviewed site options, user requirements (both existing and future),space needs and costs of a new multi purpose village hall. It is currently finalising a hopefully extended village hall site , preparing a development brief and seeking out professional advice for the outline design of a building, and will soon submit grant applications for financial support.

Community information is taking the form of a newsletter distributed to local households, and a community meeting when an outline design has been prepared.
January 2013 news:

The initial applications for financial assistance have been completed. While designs for a new village hall are developing, the support of  people in the community becomes essential, so that the right facilities are chosen for different users. This is your opportunity to take part in the project by offering ideas and maybe a few skills that will be needed in the complicated work of preparing the details. Contact post@llanbedr.com to offer your contribution – there is no obligation to attend committee meetings! – your interest in taking part will be most useful.

April 2013 update  -The architect has been appointed to produce outline plans for a new building on an extended site at the location of the present village hall. The aim is to provide facilities for the whole community, and your support is essential if the right building is to be realized. Please contact post@llanbedr.com or a community councillor to push forward your ideas for the benefit of all residents in the community.
